its a wired connection. upon exam the patch cable appears to be fraying, could that be causing the problem? will be replacing the patch cable today.

still not working, goes offline for periods of times, i have no idea whats going on.

Who's your internet provider? Sometimes if you call them and let them know what's happening they can give you a couple of suggestions of things to check.

cox. normally dont have a problem wiht them, i think it is something was changed on the computer, worked fine until last week. i think the wife broke it. cox will only tell you if your online, its ok, its the stupid computer. i hate computers
