WOW.. I couldnt imagine buying a pack of Cigarettes for that much. I remember being in the Marines and we were out in the field. I brought a carton of smokes with me and had other guys buying them for $5.00 a pack. At that time it was INSANE to pay that much for a pack. Granted, that was back in the early 90's HEHE

I remember People saying they were going to quit when smokes hit 75 cents a pack. They also said that when they hit $1.
All these years later???????????????? I am kinda like that guy on the TV ad. "I have given up giving up." I have quit many times but always come back. Good for all you that have quit. You are stronger than I. Not to go astray........however...........my dad died of lung cancer when he was almost 80. He was a non-smoker My mom is still smoking at 77. Go figure????????? I'm not trying to make a point, just something that has bothered me.

Sgt.- are you still smoke free after two years? The anniversary date is nine days out. If so- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! If not, sorry about bringing it up.
Cre8tive- I bet you are proud of yourself. It must have been really hard, but as you have stated, the rewards are there. Yay. |

My fiance quit smoking a couple of months ago. Quite the hurdle for him. He was so bitchy, I almost asked him to start smoking again. He has done very well. I don't think I could do it if I smoked.
