Do you think people are honest when filling out surveys, or do they answer as they think they should answer?
Ok you said roughly 3 out of 10 smoke. That leaves us other 7 out of 10 who dont. Now take a person like me that hates smoke...if a no smoking goes up in the places that I would like to go but dont go because of smoke... but will start going since there will be no smoking. If others follow me then would not a business place double their business with us other 7. Therefor the gubment gonna saves our lives from smoke and double the business place business....

If you believe GOVERNMENT numbers............
I was at Faces yesterday (to check it out).
The bar was full. Everyone there smoked. (so much for 25%)
(Nice place, by the way. One pool table, no food or Milk)

I stopped by the Legion around 1pm today.
Of the 14 people there, 1 did not smoke (and didn't give a shit, he was a non-smoker, not an ex-smoker) (again 25%?????) A couple more came in and I didn't notice if they smoked or not. I did notice one loved pickled eggs (he ordered 4 of 'em).

Think what you will and don't bother following my links for THE FACTS.

You can "what if" all you want.

Places close because of the Ban. (In many countries, not just the US)
Others barely get by.

The ones that were already non-smoking were unaffected (duh).
As stated in my other post.
The non-smokers didn't show up, as promised.
That's why they closed.

We will see when Pittsburg starts bitchin' about more lost revenue.
Of course by then...........................who cares?

There is a problem with your math, true that seven of the 10 don't smoke but who is to say that all seven hate smoke as much as you. Of those seven there might be some who tolerate smoke.

Hutch I looked at your links....I'll admit didnt read them through. They didnt impress me at all. Anyone could of put up those sites. I read so of the comments ....I saw where business closed. But of the one's that closed whats to say they werent close to closing anyway....but here's the point......
Why is 7 out of 10 of us suppose to tolerate smokers in a place we all want to go ( smokers & non smokers). Why not let the 3 out of 10 tolerate us non smokers. If they have to have a smoke....go outside.
I have noticed the Jungle seems always crowded...non smoking....I see some kids outside smoking....but yet the place seems pact.

Come June Kansas will be non-smoking and those who smoke will have to deal with it (like non-smokers dealt with smoking establishments) or stay at home.

Pretty simple!

Ate lunch in Tulsa today. Mid-town Café.
There is a glass wall Thur the middle.
Smoke on one side, non-smoke on the other.
Guess which side was packed.
Guess which side the employees took their breaks on.

The food was good, the price was right and a big Ice cold glass of milk.
No the smoke didn't bother anyone, it was well ventilated.

They already have.
They are gripping how the ban isn't all encompassing enough.
They are mad as hell that you can still smoke at home.
They may want to knock on your door one day (as they drive their Hummers around selling girl scout cookies) and don't want to have to smell it.
Clean Air Man!
That's their war cry.
