burley1 you sound pretty excited about that and you work at the recycling center. What is the correlation? Job security?

I bet you were somebody before the phone book came out!

I'm happy to see the books arrive, because there are some great ads for businesses that have not previously advertised. Good to see people getting the word out about the goods and services they have to offer. This economy can use every positive step we can muster among us!

The phone books I got at work yesterday seemed a little bit smaller now.
I dont know when the last time I actually used a phone book was. I always just google the business I am looking for. Saves time during a busy day

When I went back East in 2008 you couldn't find a phone book. I can't tell you how long it has been since I picked one up. W/cell phones & the internet, IMO, they are no longer convenient.

Default Excited....you bet

When the phone books come out they pay people to deliver them.....more money into the local economy. And they are recyclable. They can become boxes for food, pringles cans, insulation for houses, pet litter...lots of useful products. So in the cycle it can keep lots of people employed.

And in this economy that is a good thing!!
